National Webinar: Afghanistan, Taliban and India
The‘Centre for the Study of Society and Politics (CSSP)’,Kanpur is organizing a Webinar on ‘Afghanistan, Taliban and India’ on 11 September 2021 at 10.30 am. Eminent experts from various Universities and Research Institutions will be Resource Persons.
The unlawful return of Taliban to Afghanistan after 20 years has raised regional threat perception and changed global scenario. It has serious security implications for India especially as our next door enemy China is trying to befriend Taliban whereas Pakistan is upbeat about their return.
Many of us are wondering about policy options before India both in the short, medium and long term. There are multifarious complex and interconnected issues of local, regional and global concerns that we need to understand, discuss, analyse and make policy recommendations.
