Making Questionnaire and Code-Book for Empirical Studies

Most researchers undertake empirical studies for research work. This is true for both qualitative and quantitative studies. But the initial problem is to decide what questions to ask from your respondents in the field? How to formulate questions? How not to formulate the questions? What type of questions you need to avoid? How much attention is to be paid to the language of the questions? What ethical norms to follow in designing the questions? Are you framing the questions for the qualitative or quantitative studies? How to construct a Code-Book’ to make respondents responses intelligible? And so on.

To address all these problems and many more, the CSSP is conducting Two-days Online Workshop on the following –

  1. How to Make a Questionnaire?
  2. How to Design a Code-book?

In this workshop, we propose to discuss all these matters and many connected issues. It is hoped that the CSSP Workshop will be very educative and enriching for researchers and other scholars as well.
