The ‘Centre for the Study of Society and Politics’ (CSSP) was established in 2003 as a non-profit, non-governmental research organisation. It is registered under Societies Registration Act 1960. It is also registered in Income Tax for 12 A and 80 G. It is registered with Registrar of Companies, Ministry of Corporate Affairs, Government of India and is eligible for the CSR.

It was founded to better the research culture in social sciences and do various academic activities, research studies and journal publication.

So far, we have remained non-funded from any governmental/non-governmental organisations.

But our research and academic activities for the good of students, teachers and researchers have grown substantially in recent years.

That warrants your generous support now, so that the CSSP can fulfil its mission and accomplish its objectives.

Donations to the CSSP enjoy tax exemption under Section 80G of the Income Tax Act.
