Samajwad: Decline and Revival

CSSP is organizing a Brain Storming interactive session on ‘Samajwad: Decline and Revival’ (समाजवाद: पतन व पुनरुत्थान). The idea is to understand whether the decline of Samajwad is within the overarching framework of the ‘End of ideology’ thesis or not. If not, what are the possibilities of its revival and how?

We have eminent speakers including those from University of Chandigarh, University of California, Berkeley and IIT-Kanpur.  We expect participants to express themselves on the subject and make the session interactive. We would like to draw some substantive conclusions for the good of ideology, party and democracy.
